Well, its been another 7 months or so…so I decided that I should at least attempt to keep my lj active, even though I seem to be more addicted to facebook atm… So another brief round up of my life… • Went to see Watford win the playoff match in Cardiff! • Passed my grade eight flute • Successfully passed the first year of the music degree with a 2.1… • But then decided that I wasn’t actually happy on the course that I was doing, so transferred to the highly similar Computer Science with Software Engineering degree… • Visited Dublin’s fair city with cunnane, which was kool. Dublin is actually like London, but clean and with friendlier people. Its completely amazing there, and I would highly recommend it. There is actually a hell of a lot to do, and I think we managed most of it, cunnane has a more complete diary of what we did… but we did manage to do the guinness factory, jameson distillery and see riverdance amongst other things…! • Spent my summer on the m&s customer service desk, being shouted at by all the unhappy customers • Had to scrap another car, the poor gold sierra is no more…I am now driving a dirty dirty citroen diesel! • Tried to catch up with as many ppl as possible over the summer • Came back to uni, where I am living with 2 ppl from the music degree, and 3 of one of their corridormates…confusing, but it seems to be working, and so far so good! • Have plastered my room in posters and pictures, to cover up the beige flowery wallpaper, and am slowly getting used to having a shower in the kitchen…( I kid you not, you walk into the kitchen, and theres a door directly in front of you, that looks like its just a cupboard or a pantry or something, then you open it, and it reveals itself to be the worlds smallest shower!!) • Started new course, met loads of new ppl, and think im on my way to becoming a geek…there are some seriously stereotypical geeks on the course, but a surprisingly large amount of normal people as well, so that’s all good! • Went to see Imogen Heap and the Goo Goo Dolls, both of which were amazing, but seriously, the GGD were completely and utterly awesome. I was on a complete high for the next week, seriously, it was the best concert ive ever been to, they are amazing live and really seem to enjoy performing. Completely awesome. • Have had a Halloween party at our house, which was most fun! • Am also learning to cook for myself, which atm is still ok because it’s a new experience, give it another couple of weeks and im sure il be sick to death of it, but its nice to be able to cook what I want, when I want!! • Have been to the Cube (union club) dressed as a cowgirl…we got some very strange looks on our way up to uni, partially because tom was dressed as a Mexican, complete with sombrero (see pics)!! Hope that everyone else is good, and that 2nd year isn’t too hard for you all… xxxxxxxxxxx ( Photos ) Current Mood: okayCurrent Music: Imogen Heap - Goodnight and Go | | Wednesday, March 15th, 2006 | | 12:10 am |
Ok…so, its been a while since I last updated…*calculates* 7 months to be exact…and I decided that as a) it had been a while (talk about an understatement there) and b) I’ve done a quite a few things since, I probably should… so here we have it, an update! Well, to briefly summarise, in the last 7 months I have: - Scrapped my first car *sob* my poor Peugeot (aka simon) is no more! - Passed my A levels well enough to get into the uni I wanted (Southampton) - Found out where I was going to be living, the week before I was due to arrive at said uni… I’m currently living in Connaught hall which is a 20 minute walk away from campus (which is fine) and catered (which is SO much better than I thought it was going to be...sometimes the food is even edible!! On the plus side, its good having breakfast and dinner ready for you when you go to the canteen…on the very much down side, my last loan instalment was £500 short of the accommodation fees, and breakfast ends at 9.30!! 9.30!!! I’m a student for gods sake, I’m meant to sleep all day and then party all night!) - Did a LOT of drinking in freshers fortnight (altho that shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone…) and went to numerous fancy dress things, back to school night, a fancy dress night, then all dressed up posh to go to the freshers ball! - Was living with 6 guys and 3 girls…but then one of the girls moved out, so I now live in a 7 guy, 2 girl corridor…and the other girl is called sarah…its interesting to say the least!! But on the up side, we never get confused, shes 4’11” and tiny…whereas im clearly not that small!! Also, I can now deal with farting, burping, scratching, general guy things, without batting an eyelid! - Had many 3am fire alarms, which are a complete pain in the ass. The fire alarm sounds like an air raid siren, so you wake up with it screaming in your ear, pull on ur coat and shoes and then stumble into the corridor completely disorientataed. Dave was so out of it one night, that he came out without shoes on. This was 3 am, in november and we were out there for 20 minutes. His feet actually went blue! The thing I don’t understand is the fact that everytime we have one of these fire alarms which scare the living crap out of u, three people manage to sleep through them!! Its very impressive, and leads to room invasions by the ones whove been standing outside…again shown in the pics! - Had cunnane down for a visit, which was kool, I thought id be a good host and take her to what was the second worst club in britain…its now the first…so all is good! Its completely manky, its underground…but drinks are ridiculously cheap. And I mean ridiculously. On a Monday, its £1 for a snakebite, and £2 for a quad vod. Now that’s value for money!! - Have learnt to play new drinking games, such as “Ibble Dibble”, the results of which can be seen in the pictures… - Went to see peter andre, actually, that’s a lie, I was forced to go see him. Jaks was full of girls, all of them wanting to see him!! Scary. - Uhh had all the usual lectures, classes, seminars and music lessons…one of my modules was in Jazz and Pop, and was just so so good, it was actually amazing. It probably sounds kinda dossy to most people on so called ‘real’ courses…but it was actually a helluva lotta work. I had to learn the title, artist, year of composition, genre and the album it was from for 264 pieces of music…try listening to free jazz, it will make you want to gouge out your eardrums with a broken toothpick…after that, hiphop, heavy metal, and other stuff hard on the ears becomes as easy listening as…*searches mind* the spice girls? Theyr certainly not heavy! - Then it was christmas (so I skipped a little…sue me, and il get a law friend to defend me!) when it was majorly kool to see everyone again, either in the pub, at harpoonys or at other random events! I found being home at christmas quite weird, as it felt like id never left home and uni was just some kind of crazy dream! I also found that when I went home for the first time since id been at uni that it was really weird, like I was a guest in my own home!! Now it just feels normal. - Then it was back to uni, and pretty much straight into exams…it was then that I realised that I really should have done some listening during semester 1, and because I hadn't, I had 400 tracks of music to learn in a week. That was fun, let me tell you!! Although, that said, I did get 2:1s in all my first semester modules, and did ridiculously well in the Jazz and Pop, and AMR (antiques music roadshow…yes, they are trying to be both clever and funny, and failing miserably at both!) the two which I had to learn most tracks for, so in conclusion boys and girls, CRAMMING WORKS! And I shall stand by that. - Then was the start of semester 2, and I discovered that all my modules are crap, and that I have a crazy crazy lady teaching me AMR 2 (yup, the second part of the antiques music roadshow…) who in the last lecture was trying to convince us all that her board pen was in fact a glass of water… shes insane, and also more than a little scary. Although, that said, David owen norris (or DON), keeps telling us weird and wonderful facts, like the fact that goldfish cant appreciate music…or that schumann was in love with brahms, who was in love with schumanns wife, who was in love with schumann. Guh, its all crazy! - Have also sorted my house, and am not going to be living with any of my current flatmates…which is actually quite weird, coz I get on with them all really really well! But its jst the way things have panned out I guess, so next year I shall be living with becca and joe (two ppl on my course) and then 3 of beccas housemates, all of whom were out on the night we went out for my bday..but more of that later! So we are now going to be moving in to a rather lovely house in portswood! It’s within walking distance of morrisons, uni, portswood highstreet, and most importantly jesters! I have to now tell you all that reading all your LJs, a) before I came to uni and b) now im at uni both helps and then doesn’t. they all really helped before I came, because everyone posted such positive entries and sounded like they were having such an amazing time that I was annoyed that I was still at home and couldn’t be at uni!! I also love reading them all now and finding out what everyones been up to and how theyr doing. They also make me look forward to being able to see everyone at easter, I don’t know about anyone else, but ive found this term quite a lot harder in terms of being away, both from home and from friends, so its good to read ppls lj entries. That said, I’d like to thank everyone who remembered and then sent texts on my bday, anna, ben, elliott, debbie, ariene, esme, kate, pippa, becca, hughsie, you all rock, and id like to thank ariene, rob, esme and hughsie for their cards which were all awesome : ) also thanks to cunnane, coxy, dan, matt and neha who made the trek down/across for my birthday weekend, twas most kool to see you, and again I must apologise for the night we went out... As you may have gathered from nehas lj, I was a tad worse for wear when we went out for my bday…apparently I had a good night…apparently I also turned 19 in a bin, and not only was it a bin, but it was in the girls toilets!! Neha came in and found me sitting there!! Lol I guess its something to tell the grandchildren!! Lol im still so embarrassed…and also kinda worried coz I cant actually remember anything at all. One of the people im living with next year had to bring me home, and he was kinda wasted too, and between us we have no idea of how we got into connaught (you need two codes, and then a key to actually get into the corridor) lol ah well, apparently it was a good night, and I think everyone had a good time!! Coxy, thanks for looking after a) cunnane once shed fallen flat on her face down the steps outside the cube, b) me, once Id managed to get home and passed out! Cunnane and Matt, thanks for letting me rob your hard drives, and for sorting food the next day when I was far too hungover to be doing anything! Dan and Neha, thanks for letting me steal your wine when we were playing drinking games!!! So that was my rather eventful night of my birthday, but hey, everyone ive spoken to and apologised to since (it’s a horrifyingly large number of people!) tells me that its fine and that I was allowed to be wasted. So I was. And how… I havnt drunk anything alcoholic since!!! (ps, don’t we all look sober in the pictures…)Lol, also, thank you to Becca and Joe who came over and celebrated my "second birthday" on the 6th, because they hadnt been feeling well over the weekend, so that was kool! Dan, im sorry, I have ur card and present, but cant actually afford the stamps to send either of them *looks ashamed* but I shall give them to you at easter!! Emma, im sorry im not gonna be at home this weekend for your bday, but I hope you have an awesome night, and get completely wasted (apparently its like the law or something!!) Oh yeah, I also havnt replied to the email going around about dates to be home, but I am home on the 25th of march, and then back to uni on the 23rd of april, or something around those dates… So, I hope that everyone is well, and im most looking forward to seeing everyone at easter!!! hey, big problem about the beach trip, as in i dont have a car. my car completely and utterly failed its MOT, the garage called and told me that it was "beyond all economical repair". to sum it up, the brakes are screwed (brakes? what brakes?) the handbrake is screwd, the suspension is dead, oh and the windscreen wipers are broken, just to top it all off. basically, it would cost loads and take up loads of my dads time, coz 2 fix the problem, the petrol tank would have 2 come out, and thats never pretty. so my poor little peugeot 205 is headed for that scrap heap in the sky :( so i'm most afraid that i wont be able to give lifts to the beach, as i dont think my parents will bother getting me another car as ill be going to uni next year. so all is not good. hope things are better with the rest of you xxxx Current Mood: sadCurrent Music: Simple Plan - Untitled | | Saturday, June 4th, 2005 | | 10:56 pm |

Duran Duran....
I have only a few things to say: * Simon Le Bon is the man, i will not hear anything said against him, and when he is in that hat....oooh yes... not just anyone can pull off a hat, forgetting words and tripping over and still be oh so cool. * Duran Duran put everything into their performances, songs like ordinary world were so emotion filled it was really moving * The reflex is THE song. i could have left after that had been played and still been happy. although not as happy as i was having seen it all, it was so so good. * Duran Duran are amazing. no more needs to be said really! Basically, duran duran rock, i love them, i love their songs and i love simon le bon! merci to my fellow duran duraners, cunnane and kate, it took a while getting there and back with the *ahem* small detours, but i feel it was well worth a 360 mile round trip!!! special mention 2 coxy, who was there in spirit, and also over the phone for the reflex, flex flex flex flex flex... xxxxx Current Mood: ecstaticCurrent Music: Duran Duran - Ordinary World | | Wednesday, May 4th, 2005 | | 1:01 pm |
ok, so i woke up this morning at 5.30, felt sick, cold, clammy, u name it i felt it! so i stayed at home, went out 4 a bit, passed my driving test...and am now feeling a whole lot better!! did many stupid things on the test, resulting in many minors...but hey i passed so im currently feeling as high as a kite!! luv 2 all xxxx Current Mood: ecstaticCurrent Music: Rockapella - Mission Impossible | | Tuesday, April 19th, 2005 | | 8:51 pm |

Well after a month and a half away, I decided that I should probably update…yeah I thought that wld excite u all…lol So, what is new in my life I hear you cry? Well, I guess the main thing is that I have had my birthday, and am now old and past it! Have 2 say thanx to every1 who came to my party and said happy birthday and such, I had a great time, n I hope you all did too! Have many amusing pictures, and also a video of the infamous milkshake dance…which makes for hilarious viewing…even my parents were amused by it…worried, but amused at the same time! Hmm what else has happend….ah yeah RND. Well I looked like a moron as ne1 who saw me will know. Theres a reason pjs are only worn at night wen theres no1 else around, they really rnt the most flattering of clothes!! The dance was hilarious, so congrats 2 every1 involved!! Dans bday on sat, rolling harvest went most smoothly I feel. And the pimp van was jst hilarious!! Listening 2 grease and drinkin beer. It truly is the way to travel!! Then wnt 2 matts n did cake n singage 2 dan, which was most kool. So dan, I hope u had a gr8 bday! Then nicoles party, which was very kool. Went 2 the moon n had my 1st ever pitcher! Which was fun, we randomly met dom, scott, phil and harry in there as well. Then back at the party, the most hilarious thing was jess and matt (I think it was) breaking the radiator!!! Ah the hilarity! Hmm wat else have I done? Umm passed my theory test, competed in the watford festival twice (soon 2 b 3 times) umm o yeah, went 2 Southampton on an open day, and fell in love with it. It was amazing, and is now my 1st choice 4 sure. Sussex the week b4 was a disappointment, the music department seemed dead and most of the teachers were boring. We did a really fun class tho, composing music 4 a film scene using logic software, and that saved the day because that was really really kool, logic is the most amazingly clever program. But even the lesson couldn’t save sussex, am currently feeling that im headed 2wards Southampton in september, and as they are asking for 3 Bs, I feel that it is possible! Umm took a guitar exam yday..deep joy that was…lol, have done work (altho not as much as I should, am currently going to fail P3, so need to do some SERIOUS work, so im looking forward to that about as much as I would sawing all my limbs off with a rusty spoon) have been 2 work (and got paid!! *dances*) have only had 2 listen 2 twinkle twinkle twice 2day (so far so good…) and have almost finished my music hwk (result!) Felt sure I had somethin deep n meaningful 2 talk about a second ago….hmmmm *ponders* ah yeah, the weather! Tis truly amazing wat an effect the weather has on ur mood. Just seeing the sun and feeling its warmth is such a lift. I feel lighter than I have 4 weeks. Its good as I feel tons better and more ready 2 deal with all the crap that I have 2 do b4 we stand down, most namely my sodding recital. If that’s ready in time, then a miracle will truly have occurred and I will be estatic and offer many prayers 2 many music gods! Well I feel that is all that I have 2 share with u at this current time. I hope that life is treatin u all well, and that the sunshine continues until november… Love I send to all xxxxxxxx Current Mood: optimisticCurrent Music: Stereophonics - Dakota | | Friday, February 4th, 2005 | | 10:38 pm |
hmmm wat has been happening since the rather uneggspected incident? well I have got an offer from surrey, 2 Bs and a C, so that’s all good. went 2 an admissions day at Royal Hollway 2day, and it was really really kool. I met some really kool ppl, tlked 2 ppl from all over the country, and the best thing was, it wasn’t hard 2 tlk 2 them, 2 make conversation. I usually find it so difficult to make conversation with most ppl, let alone strangers, so I was quite impressed, and have come 2 the conclusion that I may not be a complete social reject, doomed2 spend my life rocking gently back and forth in a corner…. so I did like holloway, and now have a dilemma about what 2 put down as my choices, atm, sussex is top jst coz its got seaside!! then I have 2 pick 1 out of surrey, southampton and holloway [ Error: Irreparable invalid markup ('<if [...] aab,>') in entry. An Eggciting Experience...
Well, today I had a bad eggsperience…. My brother offered to make me a boiled egg for lunch, so I accepted, as you do. A couple of minutes later he presents me with an egg, which after cutting the top off, I discover is still raw. As in the white is still clear and runny. “hmm” thinks I, “im not eating that….what to do?” and so I think for a bit, and then turn to the fount of knowledge that is my mother. “how can I cook this egg?” asks I, replies my mum “oh, put it in the microwave” good plan, thinks I. So, I head to the microwave, put the egg in for a few seconds, no more that 10, just until the runny liquid is white and boiled-egg like. Half of the egg is missing, that is egg and shell. I take it out the microwave, walk back 2 the table and sit down. I then stick a spoon in it. KABOOM Egg yolk is everywhere. And I mean EVERYWHERE. In my drink, all over me, over my brother, my mum, on my homework, on Tim’s homework, on the computer, everywhere. So im sitting tehre, shell shocked, while my mum and brother piss themselves laughing. They all thought it was an eggshellent joke. Ah well, I guess the yolks on me….. xxxxx Current Mood: amusedCurrent Music: Nik Kershaw - Wouldnt it be good | | Sunday, January 9th, 2005 | | 9:52 pm |
found this on some random site i belong to...its freaky!! enjoy How Smart is Your Right Foot? This is so funny that it will boggle your mind. And you will keep trying at least 50 more times to see if you can outsmart your foot, but you can't. 1. While sitting at your desk, lift your right foot off the floor and make clockwise circles. 2. Now, while doing this, draw the number "6" in the air with your right hand. Your foot will change direction. weird isnt it?! hope that you all are good! good luck 2 every1 who has exams 2mra xxxx Current Mood: crappyCurrent Music: peppermint john - grape digging sharon fruits | | Friday, January 7th, 2005 | | 9:07 pm |

Well a happy new year to you all, heres hoping it’s a good one…although every1 keeps tellin me that your A level year is the hardest one you’ll ever have, happy days… :s So, last year huh? Wasn’t too bad…well from what I can remember anyway!! A few things stand out, AS results, music exams, all the good times with friends, some of the bad times with friends. All in all it was a pretty good year tho, so 2 everyone who was involved in it, thank u kindly *raises tea cup* heres to you. I feel if this year is like last year, twill b tolerable, but I am hoping that it will b better in many ways. For one thing, its our last ½ a year left at parmiters, which is partly good, partly bad. I cant wait to get away from the place, but at the same time I dnt wana leave all my friends behind. So im hoping we can have a memorable ½ year, with few arguments and lots of good times. Am currently most stressed out with maths. I feel I am living up to having no natural ability in the subject. Have almost brought myself and my mum to tears over my lack of abilty in integration. I wil just have to face the wrath of *drum roll* mrs beven…that scary ass maths teacher who puts on an act of niceness. Grr… I cant belive that 2 weeks have gone so fast and we have 2 go back 2 skl 2mra. twill not b fun, especially as pretty much every1 has exams soon, and without study leave as well. I am most shocked and disgusted by that, how am I meant 2 revise properly if I don’t have days at home in which 2 waste time in filling out internet quizzes?! Its truly shocking. Lol ah well. Hooray for christmas eve!! Altho there is still much to do, I didn’t think id have to worry, 24hrs in a day n all that, get up at a reasonable time n then tidy room and prepare 2 move out (am sharing with becca coz Annes staying over in my room) wrap presents, all the usual christmas stuff. Was shocked and horrified when my mum told me to get up and get dressed because it was late. As in 1 o clock late. Lol oops. Ah well happy days. Am feeling most christmassy atm, all the decorations went up this week, the christmas CD has been on repeat and presents r appearing under the tree so all is good!! Havnt really been up 2 much this week, should have done more revision, but Ive never had 2 revise 4 exams in january before so im having a lot of trouble with it! Altho no doubt my parents will sit me down and work through M2 papers with me next week which will help loads. Had a couple of ppl over the other day which was kool, much cardage was played and much blue charge (asdas kick) was drunk. Once again daniel raided my cupboard…something my mother now takes 4 granted :p went 2 emmas yday which was kool, I was absolutely knackerd tho so left reasonably early and went home 2 bed. But muchas gracias 2 emma 4 organising it. In other exciting news, have got an offer from sussex, which is all good, its like an early christmas present! For those who care, am plannin 2 update FLTS shortly. Umm nethin else exciting? Hmm not really, all is good! Every1 seems 2 b happy (apart frm becca who was upset earlier coz of mikes mum, grrr stupid woman) but I think shes cried it all out now which is good, other than that all is gravy. It just goes to show that school is what makes every1 stressed and depressed, without it, every1 is happier and more content. ahh well, back 2 the hoovering and the wrapping! W00tage and hooray for the end of term is just 5 1/2 days away!! (altho I feel that 1 of them contains a math test 4 me :’( grrr stupid mrs beven!!) And then we have a whole 2 weeks of freedom, for parties, christmas, drinking and of course the ever popular revision for retakes and A2 exams, my wont that b fun!!! Dnt really know what ive done since my last update, so here are the main highlights: Pippas bond party was very very kool! Every1 looked amazing and much alcohol was drunk making for a happy happy evening. Have also finished teaching for the term, which is most joyous, no twinkle twinkle for about a month!! Thank god, I didn’t think it was possible to despise a song so much (unless its webern, who is jst a maths freak attempting to write music, horrible clashy wince inducing music at that) but twinkle twinkle has proved me wrong. Also I will be getting paid properly and reguarly after christmas coz my boss is getting his accountant to sort it, so no more bouncing checks and being underpaid! It feels really weird being at home now, I keep panicking that I should be teaching, especially as I got a call frm 1 of my students going “where are you? Im here and you’re not!” stupid loser, Im sure i told her repeatedly that it was the last lesson of the term!! In other happy happy news, I have got an offer frm southampton!! Which is all gravy, I need 3 Bs which is hopefully manageable (even tho I dnt have ne natural ability in maths….*sob* im semi offended, more amused tho, it gives me great excuse 2 claim stupidity at maths to my parents) its really quite retarded that my grade 7 flute is worth more than my AS level chemistry (2 b fair it was an E, but that’s really not the point!) Final deadline 4 eng coursework 2mra, thankfully mine is basically finished, jst a coupla things I need 2 change, many thanks 2 jilly for looking over it and making suggestions and changing the repetitiveness of it!! So jilly, merci bien! yay! Christmas dinner 2moro, which will be kool I hope! Another great excuse for dressing up in posh clothes! I must remember a camera this year, ne money says I 4get tho! Lol I have 2 say I think all the lj ppl are very kool, every1 has been walking round 2day tlking about the shotgun rules, its quite sad that we can all quote the number and section. People call shotgun, then someone else tuts before adding “you cant do that, havnt u read the rules?! In section I:4 it clearly states that….” Ah hilarity! Well I feel that is enough 4 now, it is time 4 me 2 get up 2 date on my advent calendar I think im about 5 days behind! W00t 16 days til christmas! 5.5 days til end of skl! Luv 2 all xxxxxxxx Current Mood: chipperCurrent Music: David Berkeley - Fire Sign | | Thursday, November 25th, 2004 | | 10:43 pm |
well i dnt no about the rest of u, but this week suddenly seemed 2 slow down and is now taking ages 2 get 2 the weekend. i dont no y, but the atmosphere suddenly changed at skl, and not 4 the better. 2day was pretty crap really, i no a few ppl were upset n it affected everybody in the end, no1s fault, jst the way things go. i came home frm skl n couldnt say wat i was feeling, it was really strange, so i had a rant 2 dan (thanx 4 listenin dan :) ) then decided 2 have a cup of tea, and then everything got better! everything improved muchly especially when i managed 2 avoid twinkle twinkle for the 2nd week in a row at guitar!! score!! i feel i must agree with cunnane, hope and faith are feeling much abused, they have been molested so much in the past couple of days, i think there must b something in the water... i wld now like 2 take this oppurtunity 2 mention elliott, who is feeling neglected on every1s LJs, and also miles, who is not feeling so neglected seeing as this is like his 4th mention! good times. UCAS application has finally been processed, haynes finally finished his part of my reference, its only taken him about a week after every1 else, grr stupid man! kitch was randomly tlkin bout porn in our form period on tues, nt wanting 2 go there really, it was quite disturbing, considerin it went on for over 1/2 the lesson! ah well. we now have a new form tutor, dr dirty. he seems quite kool, so all shld b well. nethin new in ne1 else's life? hope every1 is good much luv 2 all xxxxxx Current Mood: blahCurrent Music: Smile Empty Soul - Silhouettes | | Tuesday, November 23rd, 2004 | | 6:12 pm |
greeterings have seriously overloaded on maths, but really i mean y do i need 2 no how 2 integrate sinx or 2sinxcosx? wen will i ever use it again? basic differentiation and integration are used in mechanics, but u neva need 2 integrate trig functions. gah, i think we should revolt against pure maths, jst coz it blows in all shapes, forms, and trig functions. gave my parents a heart attack at the weekend....i tidied and hoovered my room. they almost died of shock when i found the floor and still walk in and gasp theatrically as they point at the floor and go "carpet!!" tis gettin a little old now... went 2 the craft fair on sat, was very crafty. went 2 see father christmas though, got 2 sit on his knee (which is highly illegal, coz children can claim that father christmas did stuff 2 them :S) gettin 2 sit on the knee is 1 of the advantages of being the daughter of father christmas! went out in the evenin which was most gravy. didnt do that much on sun, tutored fractions, drove 2 hatfield 2 pick tim up an then went 2 a concert in the eve which was kl. so taht was my weekend...spent most of yday eve doin hwk n then watchin tv. spooks seriously owned last night, mentions of thunderbirds, lord of the rings, totm, and then a 1/2 naked adam...what more could you possibly want? heh good times. is it skl fotos 2mro? and is it the final date 4 christmas dinner money? hmm i shld really b more organised and make more time 4 things (ie flute practise, my teacher nos wen i havnt practiced and makes me woof lots in teh lesson :( which is nicht sehr gut!) hope every1 is all gd, gd luck 2 coxy 4 2moro, n then 2 anna 4 weneva her audition is. has ne1 gt ne new offers? luv u all xxxxxxx Current Mood: happyCurrent Music: Manu Chao - King of the Kongo | | Thursday, November 18th, 2004 | | 9:40 pm |
Hey hey ppl, Had an okish week, skl was sklish, dnt really remember much of it, o yeah we had a fire drill. That was fun. Altho it was a lot betta than the last 1 coz we didn’t get shouted at! Lifesaving completely and utterly sucked on Tuesday, I jst came home and cried coz I was so frustrated. Basically they were down by about 3 teachers, and jackies husband had jst died, so they asked me 2 teach and I cldnt really say no in the circumstances. Neway, three groups joined 2getha so there was about 20 of em. Theory was ok, u jst tell em wat 2 do n leave em 2 play with the mannequins coz they actually enjoy tryin 2 crush them. The fun started wen they got in the water, the other teacher (who is so unbelievably incompetent) cldnt handle the boys so she gave me the group of boys and kept the girls 4 herself. Let me tell u, yr 10 n 11 guys suck so much. If they no u frm skl or wateva, they dnt respect u and dnt do wat u ask. It was so bloody frustrating! ARGH!!! Neway, that was then. Woke up the nxt day feelin completely crap coz tim decided 2 give me his flu bug thing that kept him off 4 3 days and he was ill over the wkend 2, heres thinking its because women can deal with pain n suffering better… Ah well, least I got 2 watch batman the movie (the old 1 with gr8 quotes such as “somedays you just can’t get rid of a bomb…” and “holy heartbreak batman” ahh good times” and star wars ep 1 and shrek 2. So yeah yesterday was productive. 2day I actually did stuff, I backed up all my files coz I think my computers dying and I did an english essay b4 goin 2 work. Im most impresed, not only did my least co-operative pupil not turn up (it ment I had 2 sit around 4 an hour, but I can cope with that) but there was no twinkle twinkle. At all. So all was good and dandy!! In other news, have successfully dodged rdg, so that’s all good. And have even started working on other things. So it is all going most well. Random question 4 all those who want 2 answer: if you could change 1 thing in ur past wat wld it b? this is completely disregarding the chaos theory. I found it really hard, and I couldn’t think of anything majorly useful, jst stupid lil things. I guess in some ways that’s a gd thing, coz I dnt majorly regret nethin that I did or didn’t do. So there we go. Hope every1 is all good and feelin ok Luv u all xxxxxxxxxxx Current Mood: cheerfulCurrent Music: Sarah Harmer - Weakened State |
